LePort Montessori Schools Reviews

Wonderful school and patient, kind teachers. My son's first year at Irvine and he gets excited each morning to go. Staff is always helpful. As far as the complaints from other parents, if you don't know what your child is learning, ask your child or the teacher. They also have a book on different things in the classroom. And yes, they have certain rules like drop off and pick up times, so it doesn't cause disruption, which I appreciate. If a parent can't respect simple rules then this school is not for them.

My Kid is going to school. The staff is very rude and does not talk respectfully. I would not put my kid again to this school. They are more keen to make money then to teach. My kids had been to other schools in US but we never had rude response. By posting this comments, I would like the other parents save themselves from trouble.

Expensive, unfriendly and not flexible with arrival hours. Previous pre-schools provide weekly reports on child's progress. Many parents have asked Le Port for the same reports to be handed out but none have been given. So we have been in the dark on what the child learns from school.

I don't have anything to compare to, but we go to the Irvine, Lake Leport and my child is 2. She started 2 months ago and the teacher, Ms. Kandy, has been a great help in transitioning her. My child has had difficulties, but every day is better. Administrators are nice and program seems fun with lots of equipment. They change diapers and help potty train too. They sing songs and have storytime, as well as play in the yard, and have individual station time.

School is clean and well-organized. Classrooms are large and have lots of Montessori equipment. My daughter's teacher was very nice and always available to meet with me. Truly a quality program and I highly recommend this school!

Staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable. As far as curriculum and environment, the happiness and well-being of the child really depends on the particular teacher. Each teacher has her own technique and style of individual / classroom management. Most teachers seem warm and enthusiastic. However, one seemed low energy and irritable. Otherwise, the school prides itself in being a step above the developmental approach (preschool) and public school system.

My 2 1/2 year old son has been attending LePort Monitissori for the past year. Since he is very young, academics have been light, but I am happy with the introduction to basic skills he is recieving. I am also impressed with the physical size and cleanliness of the rooms compared to other schools I have visited, in the Irvine area. The staff at Leport are caring and the administrators are helpfull, friendly and all know my sons name. I am looking into the coming academic stage at Leport now.

Quality of academic programs Availability of music, art, sports and other extracurricular activities Level of parent involvement.

very good school to attend, only Montessori school that are accedited

My daughter is in the preschool program. The teacher has a lot of experience for children and the classroom is well run. But I would like to see more verity of programs at school.

My daughter is in the preschool program and the head teacher has a lot of experience. The class is well run. But I would like to see the school have more varity of programs.
