Sonrise Christian School Reviews

I am so glad that my daughter goes to Sonrise - she is reading well, can do Math very well and is growing up the Christian way. All the staff are very pro-active and are true advocates for the children. And this motivates parents to participate better in the upbringing of their children. I have been recommending this school to all my friends and I hope their children get the opportunity my daughter has.

Our 3 children came from a PUBLIC School. Sonrise is the best thing that ever happen to our children. They love Jesus, are strong in academics, and in character. Very Balanced.

Our 4 children had an amazing experience at Sonrise P thru 8th grades. They became successful leaders nurtured in a loving Christian atmosphere with stimulating academics!

Most of the teachers really love the kids--especially in the junior high. Their graduation service is exceptional--a real tear-jerker. They have excellent administrators and strong academics.

The school provides many opportunities for the student to learn outside of the classroom through trips that are relevant to their studies. The school seems to continually look to improve the cirriculum a.

As a parent of two children that attended and graduated from Sonrise Christian School I could not have been more satisfied. Not only did they receive a quality academic foundation, but they thrived in an environment that nurtured them and supported them throughout their nine years. They grew e there.

Sonrise is a fantastic school. Academically very strong. They also teach kids good morals and ethics. The teachers genuinely care and are very responsive to any questions/concerns a parent or student mat have. The student body is very mixed ethnicly. They have a great sports program and offer other activities for the kids to be involved in. They have an acting group that puts on weekly productions and so many other things to offer. It is a truly great place and I would not hesitate to highly recommend this awesome school. It is the best kept secret in the San Gabriel Valley.

My son attended Sonrise from K-6th, until we moved out of state. He was farther advanced than any of the students in his new 7th grade class. I would recommend Sonrise to any parent.

Both of my children graduated from Sonrise and went on to great success in high school and college. The teachers are effective, loving, and caring and the curriculum is strong and biblically-based. My children received an excellent spiritual and educational foundation at Sonrise.

The school has ineffective teachers and is not the panacea one would expect of a 'private' school.

Great curriculum, good teachers. Fine school as long as your student is performing well.

I was very unhappy with Sonrise Christian School. On more than one occassion I tried to talk to my child's teacher and I found him to be disinterested and even cold. I sat in on a few different classes and I found there was no classroom control. I couldn't concentrate with all the ruckus, so I am sure that the students couldn't. I felt like I threw my money away.

My child attended from k-8. We loved this school. The teachers and staff really care about the children. The academics are top rate and the kids leave the school with a real love for Jesus and respect for their fellow human beings. I highly recommend this school.

The teacher/student ratio is fair. The developmental aspect is good. As far as cleanliness they are fair.
