However, it proves to be disappointment. Only a handful of teachers show genuine concern for their students. Also, teachers should strive to be role models to the children (even dressing professionally is a struggle for most of the teachers. No wonder our children dress as they are.) Exceptional students stagnate. Parent involvement is very commendable. School leadership is weak. The kindergarten teachers are highly skilled and work hard to bring out the best in each child. However, I have a different opinion about the others. This school has been a big disappointment. - My 1st grade son was bullied ( tripped, slapped, pushed ) by a 5th grader on different occasions. - Last year my daughters teacher complained to me because my daughter would make conversation with her during recess. The teachers are well qualified and are concerned about the students education. The parents seem to be really involved in assisting the teacher and principal in our children's education. I have 3 nieces at this school and I think that the teachers there don't care to help the students learn they just pass them through from one year to the next. The test grades and learning here are poor. I don't think they have learned enough from this school to recommend it to anyone. All though I do have to say that the teachers and staff are very nice and helpful but other than that I am not pleased and would not recommend this school to any parents.”
