With so many principals in a short time and with all the diversity, these teachers are hanging on quite well. This year will be P.I. again, but I know that next year you guys will be out because you have awesome teachers. Rio has come a long way.. the istallation of new gates made a big difference estetic wise.. and academic wise I see my child getting better and better.. the teachers are caring and push students in a productive way. they give essentives for young readers and there are truely loving caring teachers here.. but they do need help... Nutrition should be revaluated and the lunch that is provided is very outdated and unhealthy (but that's a district thing I know_).. another concern is the lack of shade in the playground area.. overall I'm still very happy with this school. Mrs Espinoza is a pleasure,and so is Mrs Ibarra.. Mr Lopez was a wonderful and outstanding Principle. But to my dismay the new principle has lost control over the school.
