Grazide Elementary School Reviews

A great principal. Great team of teachers. Involved parents. I just wish the district had as goo as high schools. (But they don't).

Great staff, good academics, but lacks in discipline. many behavior problems that are not documented and therefore data looks better than it is. It is a lot of data show and can be better with better leadership which provides the parents with true picture of how the school is really performing on daily basis.

My daughter attended Kindergarten at Grazide this year and I am very impressed with her teacher. The after school program on campus is a disappointment though. They watch TV, and they sell candy. I understand that for first graders they will have available Spanish classes, Cross Country and more. I think the PTA is working to bring comprehensive and enriching afterschool activities which we appreciate. I would recommend this school as I see growth and caring staff.

This is an excellent school...teachers work together within and across grade levels to ensure success for all students. The principal provides strong leadership. Parents are involved in helping their children succeed. More after school progrmas are being added each year. This year there are after school programs for Chinese, Spanish, chess, science, and cross country.

It is a great school. I really enjoy the teachers and school enviroment. I just wish there will be more after school program like art, chess, sports. Overall, we love the school, Thanks.

Such a good school i highly recommend it should be first.

The teacher my son had in this school was very caring. He had him for two years luckily. His teacher not only paid attention to academic works, but also student s individual personality development. I see my son accomplishes things you never expected at his grade levels. I am also grateful for the recommendations he made to help my child to turn into a well young men. Grazide is a great school, with great principal & teachers, and most important, they have a great heart.

I moved to Hacienda to have my children attend Grazide. The level of instruction they are receiving is phenomenal. Yes there is a lot of homework, yes the children are challenged and yes you will see them accomplish things you never expected at their grade levels. My children were so happy to get back to school, after summer break. How often do you hear that? Grazide is a great school, with great teachers, and with a great heart. Those who reside within it's boundaries, and have children attending the school are very fortunate. With all the praise comes a request, for after school sports. Thank You, F Lopez (Proud father of students in both the 2nd and 3rd grades)

This is a very good school. My child love this school.

Ranked the best public elementary school in Hacienda Heights. Students achieve high academic success. Needs improvement on student lunch menu, which contain typical junk foods such as corndogs or hamburgers.

This is an excellent school.

I found that all the teachers my daughter had in this school were very caring. Her teacher not only paid attention to academic works, but also students personality development. After parent/teacher conference, I am truely delighted with what the teacher has observed in my daughter and the recommendations she made to help my child to grow into a more well-rounded person.

This is an outstanding school due to the peer influence among students, the ability for the staff to set high standards, and socioeconomic factors conducive to successful learning.
