Edgewood Middle School Reviews

The educational program is outstanding. However, its the small population of students that are undesireable.

i think edgewood middleschool is awesome but we need longer Pe time!

I am a 6th grader in EMS and I think that EMS is a very good school. Good teachers, great lunches, and the students who do well in class get great prizes. The only bad thing is that recess is only 4 minutes and going from class to class has to be under 3 minutes.

This is second year for my child to attend at EMS and she has enjoyed a lot for a shy and quiet child. The principal and teachers are great.

my previous review was no abiding the guidelines well here is the truth about EMS it has an awesome pricipal, an awesome counceling program but lacks paren't support, teacher support, and even a small amount of undesireable amount of students who can ruin the system of creating a well nurtured enviroment, edgewood has the things its needs to succeed but there needs to be more parent involvement =)

I have a child who has just graduated EMS. It is a wonderful school. All a child at Edgewood needs is to be focused. Regarding the probation officer I must say: Get over it!! It is not as all students have a probation officer.Overall Edgewood is a good school with devoted teachers.

Edgewood Middle School is a great middle school. My child has enjoyed very much and I am realy happy with the teaches. The drama there has lowed over the years. You child should come here

it is so sad how poor this middle school is comming, 1 its on program improvement, 2 pleanty of bullies 6th graders can think of,3 teachers don't care,4 students are fighting during class,5 parents are involved in influening the children to fight when others say hateful words,6 A MIDDLE SCHOOL THAT REQUIRES A PROBATION OFFICER!!Unbelieveable!!!

My child is new to this school. His grades have dropped (very much). I'd like to understand the grading system better. The most supportive staff member has been his counselor. However, there is only so much she can do. Other than that I am pretty lost as to where my child is at, academically. I feel as if the teachers do not care too much, and they do not know children too well. In my opinion that makes a huge difference in a child s academic performance and self esteem. My child often comes home describing fights between other students. Children are fighting in the classroom, during lunch, and outside school. There are too many students and not enough staff.

pleanty of music choir and art programs and pleanty of unmature behavoir in classrooms, students take advantage and rudely talk back to teachers to the point where teachers have cried and given up. this school needs inprovement students need an attitude change. students fight too often. many students have used to much prfanity in classrooms directly at a teacher and get sent to the office to sit for 15 min and then go back to class and ruin the educational experience and put others down with hateful words. if your not in honors then your class is basically disasterious and madness with no learning whatsoever or cooperation with students and teachers. this school was condsidered to be a charter school recomended by the district due to no cooperation. NO PARENT INVOVLMENT WHATSOEVER nobody cares basically. also teachers play the game with students about who gets the last word.

the school campus is huge for an ordinary middle school and has great band pograms and choir pograms that really excell. the teachers are deticated to make sure students achieve high standards of learning.A problem that ruins the schoo
