Magnolia High School Reviews

My children have attended Magnolia for 3 years now. Although, they're sports programs are run poorly, with the exception of the girls basketball program, Magnolia has some great teachers. My son and daughter have benefited greatly from the puente program. Few schools in the district offer this program. I credit this program for transitioning my son to college. The Math teachers are very competent. Overall, this school is a good school. However, It lacks structure and pride in the overall sports program. But with parent involvement and voices this can change. Pick it up MHS. And great job teachers at MHS.

Magnolia High School's teachers are well dedicated to their work and they are very helpful to the students. The academic programs strive to expand the student's knowledge in certain fields and deliver them into aspiring more college opportunities. Also, the diversity of the school greatly contributes to the student's real-world perspectives. The students and the staff are very friendly and helpful and with the new administration, the atmosphere has gotten better.

Suburban school with low budget and driven teachers. Majority of school is of latino origin and isn't very diverse but still is a friendly atmosphere. Much less fightin than at Los Angelese Based schools.

Only like the best school ever =) teachers, staff, and students are the absolute best!

Magnolia gave me one of best experience I have ever had in my life. I am in college now and I still reminisce about my high school life at Magnolia. I had some great teachers. We may not have a extremely good athletic program, but our academic program is great. I would rather take academics over athletics, althought we do have lots of championships and banners.

I think that the school over all is okay, but there are some area's that are lacking. There are only two foreign langueges that the school teaches. and very limited industrial arts classes. Although the marching band has greatly expanded resently, most of the students in the band dislike the band teacher, and feal that he does play favorites with some of the students. the band members that stay more them one year eather are his favorites, or want to play regaurdless of how they feel about the band teacher.

For anyone who has a Special Education Student that requires a Special Day Class, this school would not be appropriate. The Children cannot get the one on one assistance they need as each SED class has any where from 20 to 28 students in it.

Magnolia High School is a great school for students to be provided with a diverse range of educational opportunities.

I think that many people don't give credit to how much these teachers try to give their students the best education that they can give.
