Although, they're sports programs are run poorly, with the exception of the girls basketball program, Magnolia has some great teachers. My son and daughter have benefited greatly from the puente program. Few schools in the district offer this program. I credit this program for transitioning my son to college. The Math teachers are very competent. Overall, this school is a good school. However, It lacks structure and pride in the overall sports program. But with parent involvement and voices this can change. Pick it up MHS. I am in college now and I still reminisce about my high school life at Magnolia. I had some great teachers. We may not have a extremely good athletic program, but our academic program is great. There are only two foreign langueges that the school teaches. and very limited industrial arts classes.
