Juliet Morris Elementary School Reviews

My son Izayah Mora has attended this school since the 1st grade, he is now attending 4th grade under Mrs. Guiterrez. His mother and I did some research on the surrounding schools in this Southrn Calif. area and we both agreed on our son attending Juliet Morris. We could not be happier with our choice, Morris has a great track record for state and district scoring on their tests. Also there is a diverse group of ethnicity amongst the children and there is some children with unfortunate handicaps that my son has learned to interact with and learn from. Juliet Morris has been nothing but beneficial to our child and our lives.

With all my kids we have been at Morris for the last 15 years and still have a couple more to go. Morris teachers and staff are the best, I wouldn't have my kids go anywhere else. My daughter is even planning on sending my granddaughter their when she is ready for kindergarden

This is my daughter's second year at Morris, and she's been challenged academically, yet as succeeded with the tremendous support from her teacher. Her teacher was been very open and professional in communicating and truly becoming a partner in my child's education.

Amazing teachers! Love the 'newer' teachers that have arrived in the past few years, they bring a new energy to the school. Parents are also very friendly and vey involved.

I wouldn't want my children to go to any other school. all the teachers are great. everone is friendly. morris is like a small little community. can you find that anywhere else?

Too few experienced teachers, too many new young teachers.

This is a school with a high teachers to parents cooperative relation. The quality of academic program is good. However, due to the shortage of state funding, the school is unable to provide a year round music or other extracurricular activities such as physical education. The principal and the staff is doing the best they can with the limited funding. There is a high level of parent involvement. The PTA provides to school various fundings for added improvements such as new lunch tables for the kids. A parent donated a new flower bed in front of the school. The principal, Dr. Stephen Teschke, is one of the best principal I have the pleasure to meet. He is both kind and firm with the kids. He is always monitoring the school activities, esp. the during before/after school parking safety. Sandy, the secretary, is always kind and friendly with a pleasant smile.

My son had a positive experience in his kindergarten class. The teacher was experienced, patient, and made learning enjoyable. The principal was receptive to concerns and worked with us.

My daughter has been at Morris ever since Kindergarten. She loves all her class and teachers. She has been at the top of her class every year, due to the overwhelming help and support from teachers and staff. Morris has school spirit and great learning while making it fun. - Valarie Perry

Parent and teacher communication is extraordinary at Morris. The teachers, students, principal, staff and parents alike respect each other and show great pride in their school. My child has excelled at Morris not only academically, but culturally and emotionally. I couldn't have asked for a better beginning for my child's education.

We've had all three of our children go through Morris; it's always been an excellent school and the teaching staff has always provided a wonderful learning environment.
