Frank Vessels Elementary School Reviews

I am a parent who has a child at the school currently. I agree with the other ratings I love the school as it is small and the parent involvement is great. I strongly disagree with the comments about the Principal. My son has had a couple of bullying episodes and the Principal handled it - my opinion unprofessionally and in one conversation has stated I can also choose an alternative - home school I assume. Not impressed with her or the majority of the teachers in the past 2 years. This is our 3rd year there and I hope this year is better. This is my only frame of reference yet I am truly not impressed.

it is an amazing school that has inspired my 5 daughters and 3 sons to stay in school and avoid drugs. the teachers are awesome. They teach form the bottom of their heart. I lobe this school.

I am the parent of a fourth grade student and I am more than pleased with the education he has received at Vessels. The teachers are caring and nurturing and they definitely challenge their students. My son has read great novels and has learned how to use many computer programs. There are also extracurricular activities. My son attends afterschool chess club as well as an art class. The music teacher is great. I know that there have been at least two performances this year. I think that Vessels is the best school in Cypress. It is a model school!

This is a fantastic elementary. The teachers are very engaged with their students. My daughter is always excited to get to school, which says a lot. The school itself is smaller and well maintained.

Vessels is a nice small school in a safe neighborhood. However I don't believe the students are challenged enough. There aren't as many extracurricular activities as other surrounding schools.Students are rarely involved in school performances for example.

This is a wonderful school!

My son is in first grade this year and I have to say that the first grade team is excellent! I have been more than happy with Vessels this year.

I just wanted to add that I have 2 children one of which is still attending vessels and the other is now in high school. I have been very happy with this school as well. My daughter learned to read in kindergarten very fast. I have to say the teachers in the lower grades are exceptional. The upper grade teachers are good also but I feel strongly that the k-3 teachers are exceptional. Your right the school is attractive and the location is great.

I am new to this school with my kindergartner just finishing up. So I don't know too much about the other teachers or activities. But I am very impressed so far from what I have experienced. I hope the principal gets to stay longer and they do not move her. She's great. The school is clean and attractive, lots of greenery, set back in a quiet neighborhood. My kindergartener is already starting to read, and do addition. I am totally amazed at what they have accomplished in one year. I highly recommend this school. This should be a model for how all elementary schools should be.
