Westpark Elementary School Reviews

This school is not a best choice because academically it is not strong.

Best school ever! good in learning and has good activities!

My daughter had a teacher who didn't give her any attention. I switched my daughter to another school in the same district. There the kids are way ahead academically. This makes me think that Westpark probably wasn't the best choice....sad to say!

My son has been in this school for two years. I am happy with his teachers due to I felt they were both loving and gave him lots of attention. However I think the office front support staff are very rude as well. They should be hiring more pleasant staff.

Had the chance to interact with admissions (office staff) and agree with the other comments that they are very rude, dont know why the school cannot ask them to be nice after this many complaints.

All of my children attend school here. The principal is fabulous- caring and attentive. The office- suprisingly rude, to both the children and the parents. The support staff- professional and concerned. The teachers- stay involved and teacher knows you are paying attention. I read the reviews, and I agree with neverending funding issues and confusion over combination classes. I guess it all balances out. It is the only school my kids have attended.

my kid is a kindergarten. Its been just 4 days the school started but i am already not satisfied with the class teacher. When i compare the K1 teacher with her i find so more communicating ,kid friendly(as in morning she is the only teacher i see playing with kids in playground). I like the school but i wish the K2 teacher would change. I think she is not at all kid friendly or communicating. Our kids are still entering the new world, they need more friendly teacher who is more of a friend then a arrogant teacher.

I don't like this school Because the school needs accelerated leaning opprtunities.

This school is not that great academically. Also my daughter's claa has a 2 contract teachers. Now sub-teacher is comming. So kids are confusing. Actually we've change the school last year from other school in irivne. But this school is so much slower than other school about academically.

Westpark is a great elementary school, as it excels in academics and is recognized by California as a distinguished school. Mrs. Mulhaupt is a good leader and knows how to run a school. Unfortunately, I don't see eye to eye on the safety issue. I live across a major street where there are no road guards. Instead of having parents waste their time in the valet program, we should be protecting our children with road guards. Most teachers are extremely helpful with the children and care about them.

Westpark Elementary is an incredible school. It is a Blue Ribbon School and now I know why. My daughter has attended kindergarten through 3rd grade there and the curriculum, teachers, school staff, and principal deliver superlative results. There is an emphasis placed on parent involvement and detailed communication between teacher and parent. Progress reports are informative and helpful. IUSD (Irvine Unified School District)is one of the top 10 rated school districts in the USA and now I know why - they take your child's education very seriously and combine it with creative and inspiring teachers who truly care about the development of your child by equipping them with academic and leadership skills that can be used throughout adulthood. Westpark Elementary encourages students to excel and to understand the importance of developing life skill sets by providing a w
