Chapman Hills Elementary School Reviews

I love it. my child went there its a very good school in a nice area

It was a wonderful school for my kids to go to. The discipline area needs to be improved a bit but overall good school.

I feel strongly that my children are receiving an outstanding education at Chapman Hills. The expectations are high and each child is supported and encouraged on an individual level. Educational min. are easily met. The EXCEL reading program focuses directly on needed skills for each individual while mastering standards. Preventing children from slipping through the cracks. The parent support/volunteers add a lot to the academic and extra curricular activities, which allows the teachers to stay focussed. The principal stands up for best practices and supports the teachers, parents and students. The librarian is a delight! The book selection is amazing and it supports their reading comprehension program. The RSP teacher is the best reading teacher I have ever met during my 16 years in education. Lastly, the Native American Title VII program offers before school tutoring, along with the school's lunchtime support. They are setting the standard for quality.

Teachers are excellent and work to meet each student's needs. Parent involvement is great, which helps the school provide programs which normally could not be provided.

Chapman Hills is very focused on the academic development of all its students. Allowing kids that are more advanced in key subjects (math, reading) to continue to excel while further developing the skills of those students that are at grade level, is a key focus of this school. There is a music program available, as well as access to great after school programs. Parent involvement is excellent, but naturally dwindles in the upper grades.

My child went there for kinder. She had a great experience. We were sad to leave the school. The teachers were excellent. They do early bird late bird instead of morning and afternoon. This gives the teacher ratio 10-1 for about 2 hours during the day! Can't beat that. There is alot of parent participation. The PTA there is very strong and they have great activities for the kids. They even have a family camping night in the field during the first couple months of school. I highly recommend this school for anyone who lives in the neighborhood and anyone who doesn't and needs to open enroll their child.
