The teachers are warm and competent, the school is well administered and they have an AMAZING PTA. The parent involvement is wonderful and there are many extracurricular activities (e.g. keyboard club, talent show, sixth grade play) that augment the students' education. Very strong teachers in kindergarten through second grade, as well as in fourth grade. Some staffing changes made third grade teaching less than optimal last year, but these problems seem to be getting worked out now. No experience with 5th/6th grade teachers yet. Communication is great with weekly status reports that go home with the students (white folder). Only problem with the folder method is that if the students forget to bring the folders home, or if parents don't check it, communication can break down.
