Portola Middle School Reviews

2007-2008 was the first year at Portola. I felt it was unsafe and the Managerial staff was only interested when it got ugly and that was only for a little while. Some of the teachers offered after school help but it doesn't help when you are not there!!! I think there needs to be some serious upgrade in the principal and her staff in the office helping the teaching staff and making sure the kids get the help they need and are safe to and from school. There is a lot of work to be done in that school and the parents need to kick in and help out as well. It will only work if we all work together. If you don't care about your kids....who else will !!! Come on parents show your kids you care. It's also a great way to bond with your children!

This has got to be the worst school ever. But there is one upside to it. Dr. Boucher. He is the best teacher you could ask for.

The honors program is definitely up there. Mr. boucher: good teacher. Good school, despite its reputation.

I love portola the teachers are great...dr. Boucher did an amazing job as a teacher

This school is one of the worst in the district! It does have good teachers but the principals are constantly undermining learning.

I have 1 child going there and had another there also.I think it is the best school in the districs.Go matadors!go matadors!

Portola middle school is very good in their honors programs. The availability of sports is great. The level of parent involement is low.

I have two kids at Portola and so far my kids are doing great. The teachers have all have been involved with the kids and are always willing to help the students with helpful hints on how to improve their grades and going that extra mile...my kids love Portola and as parents we do too...keep up the good job...yeah Matadors!
