Laguna Hills High School Reviews

As an AP student, I am pretty dissatisfied with this school. The AP classes were brutal, and i often found myself in tight situations with 5-7 hours of homework per night. The school also has many cliques - mostly by race. However, I am, for the most part, impressed with the teachers who I have had. Some have been very insightful, intelligent, and analytical.

The academic programs prepared my daughter to easily adjust to UCLA last year, and do well. The school population is small so it is easy for students to participate in many activities. The parents I worked with on a volunteer basis were positive and enthusiastic.

The academic programs are the best around, and the school has a great small school feel which we wanted. Our kids played sports and really enjoyed the experience. Parents in the community are very involved, and we were asked for input on multiple occassions which we thought was great!

I have mixed feeling about this school. Some of the teachers are very dedicated. Most of them though, are very pompous and care very little about the individual students. The parents are not listened to when they have a concern, not even by the administration. The student body is made up of the haves and have nots, and of course the haves rules the school.

This is one of the top schools around. The teachers at this school consistently do more with less. Almost all of the teachers are involved in some form of club or extra activity. I always loved the fact that many of my teachers would come to my events and support what I did out side of the classroom. I am jealous of the underclassmen who are getting brand new buildings, a new stadium and a whole bunch of other things on campus. I really felt like I was prepared for college after going to school here. I don't know how others had a bad experience, as I had nothing but great things happen while in school.

This school is not good at all. I am leaving because I dont like it so much. Its not the kids, or even the rules(even though they have none). This school has some of the worst teachers ive ever experienced, they havent taught me anything, and i feel like i am getting nothing out of it.

I love my school and personally ... i dont think there is anyone or anything wrong with it. i love going to laguna. peace out. Long Live the hawks

Horrible School. Too many kids per teacher ratio. I would never go back there in all of my life.

Great School. I've had three children go to this school and they go to these colleges: Berkeley, Stanford, Harvard

Good school for a public high school. My two children attended. One is at UCLA, the other is a United States Marine. The principal at the time was Mr. Manzo.

I think it's relaly great an wunderful and hs lots fer the kids

I think it was a wonderful school. There are many extracurricular activities offered and the teachers are wonderful.
