The faculty and administration provide a positive and safe environment for all students to succeed. THS academic programs and extra curricular activities are outstanding. Both my sons have gotten a great education as a result of this. I must point out that the AVID program is excellent and has surpassed my expectations. They help the average student succeed in high school and prepare them for college and beyond. The Athletics program is outstanding and well balanced. They even provide tutoring for those athletics that are in need. I believe that athletics are very important in the life of all high school students. It provides for a place in the general school population for every student. My son enjoys everyday at school because of the environment you help provide. It provides diversity, which is good for life after high school. I think we could use a better cheerleading coach in order to bring more school spirit to the squads. I used to think that this high school was dangerous and a haven for gangs and drugs, but my opinion has changed.
