Schroeder Elementary School Reviews

Schroeder is an incredible place. Drive by the parking lot long after the kids are gone and you will see plenty of cars -belonging to a very dedicated staff. Teachers have chosen to send their kids to Schroeder, due to the high quality of instruction and the very caring community. We have a very active PTA and a terrific principal. Best of all, though are our kids. Schroeder students work hard and care a lot about being dedicated scholars. Both of my kids have graduated from Schroeder and were well prepared for the rigors of middle school and high school. I wouldn't want to teach anywhere else!

This school is the Best! We are so very happy we have placed our child here. The staff is wonderful and the Teachers truely care about the students. There is a small town feel and everyone is so pleasant. We have our daughter here because we had heard so many wonderful things about Schroeder. The parent involvment is outstanding too! You are very welcome on campus to help in any way you can. I love that it only goes through 6th grade. It lets our children be kids for a bit longer than being subjected to the older kids. Our daughter is now only in 1st grade, but I can't find any fault with the school at all. We just love Schroeder!

I have 2 kids at Schroeder now. My oldest is in 3rd grade and my youngest is in Kindergarten. I have like the teachers my oldest has had so far. They have been good teacher, but yet not challenging enough. My child reads at a way higher reading level and needs the challenges honestly. The kindergarten classroom NEED to get assistants for the teachers. 20 kids that are 5 and 6 are a bit much for one person. They need to really push the academics. AS FOR THE PRE K Program at this school...Excellent TEACHER...very nice. My child did NOT LEARN all the academics he needed there though. I paid for him to learn colors he already knew and play it seems. I was disappointed he did not leawrn more of the alphabet and his numbers

Some teachers are lazy, and the prinicipal sets up so many programs just to earn money for school while she can be improving the educational programs.

My daughter attends Schroeder Elementary and it is an ok school. I would like to see Schroeder offer more to the kids such as different after school programs. One in particular is All the Arts for All the Kids. Or offering Pappa John's Pizza once a month for school lunches. These are just examples. But also I would like to see more school field trips offered, book orders etc. I know there are budget cuts but maybe more parent participation is needed as well. The teaching staff is ok but I feel that it has been just ok. It would be great to see Schroeder pull it together more and strive to be a ten. Honestly I feel that rating it a six or seven is about right.

I think this school is great. They care so much about the children.

Schroeder has great teachers who want the best for their students. We are going through a principal change and it always takes everyone's cooperation for this to work. PTA is very strong here which is a good thing. Programs always are run through PTA and the pride for this school is immense. All in all, Schroeder is a strong, caring school.

My child, who gets really good grades, consistently gets bullied by students and teachers witness it and ignore it. Some of the teachers are okay, and the principal is average. However, almost all of the events are set up by parent volunteers.

I could not be any happier. This is an amazing school! There is a huge level of parent involovement here. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Well, my son went to kindergarten there last year. This year we have moved to Las Vegas, and I MISS his old school. We did have some problems adjusting with him there, but the teachers and the administration were really good! The teachers really seemed to care about the kids, and tried to make positive experiences. If I could, I would
