Alvord Continuation High School Reviews

Im currently a student at Alvord high school. Alvord isnt just any continuation high school, it is another chance in life, to be able to graduate high school. The teachers are very caring and patient. When you first go to Alvord, all the teachers, staff and the principal, they all make you feel like part of a big family. Alvord is a big family, with very little students. less than 200. I changed a lot since i been in alvord. The friendly atmosphere litterally gives you a smile. I been going to alvord for about 3 months and i havent seen one single fight, unlike the other 3 high schools i assisted to. There is not a lot of students in each class wich gives the teacher more control over the students and time for each. The school is very beautiful, very very green. If you think your daughter or son is not going to be able to graduate for any reason, Alvord is new beginning for those kids. I feel honored of being a Alvord student.

Hello, I would just like to express my experience of when my son had to go register at this school. I was very pleased with everyone I met they were very nice to meet. My son has being doing very well every since he has been attending Alvord High. I am very pleased with the education part of the school it's a good pace and if you show up and do your work you will pass. Thanks,

Great school, great programs to accommodate almost every student. Programs include all general education requirement classes, great electives such as P.E. and art included. There is a great computer program for every level and subject, known as Nova Net. Finally, this is a very, very intimate small school environment with less than 200 students and less than 20 per classroom. On average between the 10 teachers, they average 10 per class per period. The principal is the greatest. The staff and students just love him! On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best option for students behind in credits or just wanting a self paced educational experience, Alvord Rebels is the home for you!
